The influence for this piece started with my love for flowers...pansies in particular.
I have been recently thinking about my Grandmother and wanted to mold and blend her admiration for pretty patterns and fabrics into something botanical - showcasing the beauty in nature, the fragility, the repetition; but doing so with a modern, contemporary twist.
